Carol Clark has been working in Sarasota’s market for nearly 6
years. Her enthusiasm for accomplishing big things along with her
warmth, knowledge, and natural sales abilities make Carol a leading
real estate professional in southwest Florida. Her specialty is
marketing distinctive luxury properties on the barrier islands and
in exclusive mainland neighborhoods.
Carol grew up in a
military family and developed a strong work ethic at an early age.
Her tenacity has taken her from graduating Purdue University with
honors to the corporate world of an exciting Fortune 100 company.
She became director of
human resources and labor relations before aiming her energies
toward real estate. Within a short span of time Carol became an
esteemed top producer. She draws from her experience and education
to ensure smooth real estate transactions.
As someone who’s
visited more than 25 countries and lived in different parts of the
world, Carol quickly connects with the people she meets. She has a
wonderful ability to remember names, faces and places. She has
a 12-year background in publishing and understands the impact of
well-designed marketing materials for the homes she represents.
Strategizing each home with careful attention to detail she makes
any property stand out from the rest.
Carol has the benefit
of working with her husband, general contractor Paul Clark. Their
partnership has given her an exceptional insight to home
construction and improvement, and the two work hand-in-hand to turn
seller’s wishes into reality.
“It’s all about results and
‘hitting the mark’ for the client
but I want the journey along the way to be one everyone involved enjoys.”

Paul Clark is typical of many Sarasotans in that he chose this
fabulous area after having lived in other parts of the country. His
life began in Ohio and from there took him to New Jersey and then to
Colorado for college. After graduation, Paul spent a number of years
in Vail as a general contractor building numerous condominium
projects. Paul’s family, in the meantime, had discovered Casey Key
and after several visits, the lure of this beautiful area caused
Paul to relocate as well.
Paul spent 8 years
running a successful European cabinetry and architectural millwork
company in Sarasota before selling that business to join his
family’s property management company. Paul served as President of
that company for 15 years and then was enticed to create and build
again with the esteemed ML Collingwood organization, this time
high-end, custom, luxury homes.
It was in 2003 that
Paul considered the idea of an early retirement only to find that
his wife, Carol, had other ideas for him. Her real estate career had
reached lofty heights and required that she have a partner in the
business. "Paul earned his real estate license at that point and the
partnership began.
"Paul is my secret
weapon; he works quietly behind the scenes in contract management
and overseeing inspections and repairs," Carol says. "He is a
creative problem solver, resourceful and knows how to protect our
seller’s interest. No matter what, he doesn’t give-up on a
transaction until the right solution is found."
Paul and Carol make a
dynamic team as their individual strengths are hugely complimentary
to the other. They enjoy working together and are loved by their
clients for their down-to-earth personalities and the old-fashioned
work ethic that they bring to their business. |
